The Old George Inn is Newcastle's oldest pub, dating from the 16th century and boasting royal links: King Charles I was a regular visitor, while in an open prison nearby; today, we still offer a royal service in this truly spectacular building. Fantastic food is served seven days a week, with meal deals our speciality. There is live entertainment every weekend, with our 'Greece uncovered' DJ playing the finest 60's - 70's - 80's music in Newcastle. We are licensed until 2am on Friday and Saturday for a great night out in the heart of the city.
