Bearsted & Thurnham Club

We are located in the centre of Bearsted village, and are a private members club with approximately 650 members. Although we are a men only institution there are no restrictions on guest entry as we do not discriminate between male and female guests. Guests are required to pay a fee of £1.00 and must be signed in by a fully paid member. The history of the club goes back more than 100 years, and we have always been a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to our members. For information on the history of the club please click on the History page. We are a freehouse so are not tied to any brewery and this allows us to have regular promotions, guest beers and offers. As you'd expect from a members club our prices are considerably lower than the neighbouring pubs and restaurants. We are a very friendly and accommodating club, and have excellent facilities. The club also has the benefit of off road parking to the rear of the building.
