Grays is a twon in Thurrock, Essex and is located about 20 20 miles from London. It's on the bank of the Thames and is within close proximity to one of the UK's biggest shopping centres (and Darts arenas), Lakeside. It has reasonable transport links, with trains into Fenchurch Street, and excellent access by car. Although the town can't boast massive sporting success, the non-league football team (Grays Athletic) did win the FA Trophy twice... A couple of notable sons from the town - Russell Brand (not big into sport) and Stuart Barnes (big into sport. Who would you rather have a pint with?
