Crewe
Crewe is located 35 miles from Manchester and famous for its railway station, sometimes dubbed the gateway to Wales (or the North West if travelling in the opposite direction...). The town is fairly modern having been planned in the 1940s.
Crewe has a strong football heritage with Crewe Alexandra having reached the First Division / Championship in the 1990s. The club won silverware in 2013 beating Southend 2-0 to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
