Metropole

The Metropole is located in the heart of Gateshead. We underwent a huge 400K refurbishment. We were very careful to keep the traditional Victorian pub feel and have many original features. We have a grand bar lighted by trumpets (honestly, take a look for yourself if you don’t believe us). This reminds us of back in the day when we were a Victorian theatre bar. We have several cushioned leather booths for you to enjoy private drinks with friends and an open plan feel around our bar area. We have several screens located all around our pub for you to watch all major live sport. We’re a traditional pub with a modern twist.
