Butterfield's

(formerly Evoo, Walkabout) Cavernous bar in premises most recently occupied by bar/pizzeria, Evoo (the stylish floor is a relic from that incarnation). It comprises one long, dimly-lit space with a huge screen at the far end. Like its nearby smaller sister bar, Harrals, the decor is more night-club than pub/bar with snatches of lurid lighting punctuating the overall gloom. Salt Jute IPA is available on draught. The name commemorates the original owners, Butterfields & Massies, Drapers - see the inscription high up on the handsome stone exterior.
