The Hawthorn Bar

he Hawthorn Bar & Lakeside Restaurant is one of the few pubs in Cork City that is run by the same family for nearly half a century. It was built by the parent's of the present owner Patrick Coakley in 1961. Over the years it has developed from a local pub to what it is today, one of Cork's best known Bars and Restaurant with an unparalleled view of the Lough. The Hawthorn also serves morning coffee, has a delicatessen and serves a carvery menu at lunchtime everyday except saturdays. There is also live music in the lounge on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights In the bar area you will also find a pool table, a jukebox and a poker machine.
