About this location
Nationally Recognized • Locally Owned • Built for Sports Fans No matter who’s cap you wear, you’re welcomed here! CAPS Sports Grill is a locally owned, mom-and-pop sports bar proudly serving North Phoenix since November 5, 2008. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, consistency, and commitment to the fan experience, CAPS was recognized by Sports Illustrated as Arizona’s selection in “Best Sports Bar in Every State, ” based on strong guest ratings across Google, Yelp, and other major review platforms. Food is a major part of the CAPS experience, led by our made-from-scratch wings, tossed to order in a variety of house sauces and seasonings. For guests looking to take flavor even further, wings can be finished on the grill after saucing, adding an extra layer of char and depth. Along with wings, the menu features classic game-day favorites including burgers, flatbreads, and scratch-made specials designed to pair perfectly with a full bar featuring 14 beers on tap, plus wine, spirits, and signature cocktails. Sports are front and center with 22+ TVs, and each TV is equipped with its own DIRECTV receiver, allowing multiple games to be shown simultaneously. CAPS also provides sound for multiple games (#GamesWithSound), with a strong focus on the live broadcast experience. To keep the attention where it belongs, CAPS does not run a jukebox, karaoke, trivia, or live music that could interfere with hearing the game. With NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, MLB Extra Innings, and ESPN+ for Business, CAPS delivers wall-to-wall sports from early kickoffs to late-night west coast games. From NFL Sundays and college football Saturdays to NHL, MLB, and major national matchups, fans won’t miss a moment. CAPS Sports Grill is family-friendly, welcomes groups of all sizes, and takes reservations, making it easy to plan watch parties, team outings, and casual get-togethers. For nationally recognized quality, standout wings, and a true sound-on sports atmosphere, CAPS Sports Grill is North Phoenix’s go-to game-day destination.
