How to Find Bars Showing World Cup Games Near You
1994 was the last time. Thirty-two years ago. The US hosted, bars overflowed, and the sport was barely on the radar here. Now soccer is everywhere and this World Cup is twice as big: 48 teams, 104 matches, 16 stadiums across the US, Canada, and Mexico. June 11 through July 19. The final at MetLife in New Jersey.
Kickoffs run from noon to midnight ET depending on the day. You'll have stretches where two or three games overlap, different groups, different stakes. At home you pick one screen. At a bar with eight TVs you get all of them, and the guy next to you is tracking the other group's goal difference on his phone.
FANZO shows you which bars near you are screening World Cup games. Search your city, pick a match from the fixture list above, tap a bar for address and directions. That's it. Group stage midweek games can be chill. Knockout rounds? Packed. Check FANZO before you leave so you're not standing outside a bar that hit capacity before kickoff.
World Cup 2026 TV and Broadcast Guide
Fox has the English-language rights. All 104 games across FOX, FS1, and FS2. The big group matches and every knockout game from the quarterfinals on will be on the main FOX channel, which is free over-the-air if you've got an antenna. Telemundo and Universo have the Spanish side.
Streaming: FOX Sports app and Tubi are both free for English. Peacock carries Spanish.
At a bar, none of this matters much. Most carry both Fox and Telemundo already. The real question is whether the bar puts sound on the game you want or sticks it on a corner screen with the volume off while baseball plays on the main TV. FANZO venue listings note screen setups where available, so you can check before you go.
| Time Slot (ET) | Typical Round | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 12:00 - 1:00 PM | Group stage | Weekday early games. Some bars open specifically for these. |
| 3:00 - 4:00 PM | Group stage / Round of 32 | Afternoon slot. Busy. |
| 6:00 - 8:00 PM | Group stage / Knockouts | After-work. The busiest slot at most bars. |
| 9:00 - 10:00 PM | Group stage (select) | USMNT vs. Paraguay (June 12) and vs. Turkey (June 25) are in this window. |
| 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM | Group stage (select) | Late-night East Coast. Fine for the West Coast. |
The 11 US Host Cities: Where to Watch Live
Eleven cities, eleven stadiums, 39 days of football. The bar scene around each venue will be chaos in the best way. But you don't need to be in a host city. Any city with a sports bar is a World Cup city this summer.
| City | Stadium | Capacity | Matches Hosted |
|---|---|---|---|
| New York / NJ | MetLife Stadium | 82,500 | 8 (including Final) |
| Dallas | AT&T Stadium | 80,000 | 9 |
| Los Angeles | SoFi Stadium | 70,240 | 8 |
| Kansas City | Arrowhead Stadium | 76,416 | 8 |
| Houston | NRG Stadium | 72,220 | 8 |
| Atlanta | Mercedes-Benz Stadium | 71,000 | 8 |
| Seattle | Lumen Field | 69,000 | 8 |
| Philadelphia | Lincoln Financial Field | 69,176 | 8 |
| San Francisco | Levi's Stadium | 68,500 | 8 |
| Miami | Hard Rock Stadium | 65,326 | 8 |
| Boston | Gillette Stadium | 65,878 | 8 |
No ticket? Honestly, a sports bar two blocks from the stadium with the sound on full blast and the place going mental might be better than the nosebleeds. Cheaper beer, better view of the replays, and you don't have to deal with parking.
