The North East is a hive of sporting activity which is probably why there are so many sports bars in Redcar. Of all the sports, this small town is perhaps best known for horseracing which has been going ahead at Redcar Racecourse since 1870. When you combine this town’s love of sport with the fact it boasts some of the nicest pubs in the country, it only seems right that you put the two things together. And whilst horseracing may not be the most attractive proposition for pub-goers, other sports certainly seem to go down pretty well.
