Sports bars and pubs in Grimsby showing sports live
We know all there is to know about finding sports bars in Grimsby. It what the French, or the more erudite among you, might refer to as our ‘raison d’etre’. There are tonnes of reasons why Grimsby is such a great place to watch sport. Established in 1878, Grimsby Town Football Club is the oldest professional football club in the county of Lincolnshire. The Mariners have had a tough time of things lately, not seeing the top-tier since the 1930’s so you can’t really begrudge the locals for cheering on other, with all due respect, slightly bigger clubs playing on T.V. The publicans are capitalising on this fact and hence there are loads of pubs showing Champions League and Premier League.
Grimsby
What else is Grimsby famous for besides fish and chips? Well, lots to be quite honest and it isn’t all sport. Although sport does feature rather heavily on the list of priorities. That’s probably why there are so many pubs showing sport in Grimsby. In our humble opinion, there is no better place to be than inside a cosy boozer with a pint of something tasty and the sport on the television. It’s quite literally what weekends were made for doing.
