Best Sports Bars and Pubs on the Isle of Wight
So you've made the long trip across the water, or you are one of the lucky few to be on a year 8 geography field trip, and you're looking to settle in at one of the best sports pubs on the island (people actually live there too). Well, this shouldn't be too hard considering we've narrowed it down to 2! Take your weekend plans, rip them up, and head down to Newport for an afternoon/day/week of fantastic sports and drinking. This bar has two distinct areas: a sports zone with pool and darts facilities 2 flat screen T.Vs and a large projector screen and a separate lounge area which also has ample viewing facilities so not a moment of any sporting event will be missed.
A charmingly old-fashioned pub boasting some excellent food in a dining area in addition to beaming all the action from Sky Sports and BT Sport live numerous HD televisions throughout.
