About this location
Banter is one of Brooklyn’s most respected soccer pubs, known for its authentic matchday atmosphere and deep ties to the local supporters community. With a cozy, European-style setting and a crowd that truly understands the game, Banter has become a go-to destination for American soccer fans in New York. The pub regularly shows top competitions including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and major international tournaments, and is closely associated with soccer supporters clubs. Banter fully embraces the European schedule—high-stakes European fixtures often kick off in the morning for US audiences, and early matches are treated with the same energy and attention as evening games. While soccer is the clear focus, Banter also shows select American sports, making it a welcoming option for mixed groups. With full match sound, packed rooms, and a passionate fanbase, Banter delivers one of the most genuine soccer-watching experiences in the city.
